Completion Technologies Driving Performance in Complex Wells: Actionable Insights and Case Studies

Tuesday, 5 May
Room 606
Technical Session
This session highlights the application of advanced completion technologies to address complex challenges across a range of well environments. Topics include the use of coiled tubing fiber optics, distributed temperature sensing (DTS), metal alloy packers, downhole safety valves (DHSVs), and expandable liner hangers (ELHs) to enable selective stimulation, multi-stage fracturing, subsea production management, water injection, and mitigation of formation damage. Additionally, the session features discussions on advanced numerical modeling techniques for tubing buckling, as well as performance insights into intelligent sliding sleeves and autonomous inflow control devices (AICDs). Attendees will explore cutting-edge solutions deployed in demanding settings such as deepwater, HPHT, carbonate formations, and wells with complex geometries.
