From the Gulf Coast to the World: Marine Export Lessons for the Next Wave of LNG Facilities

Thursday, 7 May
Room 206
Keynote Speaker Series
As the United States solidifies its position as the world’s leading LNG exporter, the Gulf Coast has become the center of gravity for global liquefaction and marine loading infrastructure. This keynote will explore how world-scale U.S. LNG export terminals are engineered, constructed, and operated at the critical interface between onshore facilities and offshore marine operations. Drawing on extensive LNG project delivery experience, the session will highlight lessons learned from coastal siting, berth and jetty design, cryogenic loading systems, and construction execution in challenging coastal environments. The keynote will also provide a forward-looking view of global LNG supply and demand, examine emerging requirements for next-generation marine export systems, and showcase how digital innovation, modularization, and resilient engineering are shaping the future of LNG infrastructure. Attendees will gain actionable insights into the capabilities required to deliver the next wave of LNG export terminals worldwide, while strengthening America’s leadership in maritime energy transportation.
