Offshore Infrastructure Integrity and Life Extension: From Data to Decisions

Thursday, 7 May
Room 604
Technical Session
This session highlights innovations in offshore integrity management and life extension strategies for risers, flowlines, and subsea systems. Topics include data-driven fatigue analysis, fitness-for-service assessments, and risk-based corrosion management for offshore pipelines. Case studies demonstrate how real motion data, advanced inspection technologies—such as electromagnetic and ultrasonic NDT tools—and maintenance optimization techniques improve reliability in ultra-deepwater environments. Additional presentations explore subsea Xmas tree maintenance and intelligent well system reliability. Collectively, the papers emphasize the transition from model-based to data-centric approaches, enabling safer, more efficient, and longer service life for critical offshore infrastructure.
