The Assurance and Project Pathway to Nuclear in Offshore
05 May 2027
Room 310
Technical Session
Following on two previous invited technical sessions on nuclear, this invited session on nuclear in offshore is focused on assurance and on project pathways to get a project “named” and win approval at Concept Select to go into pre-FEED. The nuclear space has been filled with developer propositions that have focused on benefits of nuclear without a clear focus on the regulatory or assurance pathway to bring a project of this nature to “first oil.” The papers reflect a range of well-respected names in the nuclear and offshore space to address project development, project assurance, and the licensing pathway for nearshore and offshore projects.
