NO SUITCASING POLICY
To ensure a positive and equitable experience for all sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees, OTC strictly prohibits suitcasing.
What Is Suitcasing?
Suitcasing refers to any individual or company conducting business activities without an approved sponsorship or exhibit package. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Soliciting attendees, exhibitors, or sponsors in meeting rooms, public areas, lounges, or common spaces
- Distributing marketing materials, samples, or promotional items without authorization
- Hosting sales meetings or demonstrations outside of designated, contracted spaces
- Posting signage, advertising, or branding without approval
- Using attendee badges for unsolicited sales outreach onsite
ONSITE PRE-SHOW REGISTRATION
Onsite pre-show registration will be open 30 April–1 May 2027 from 0800–1700 CDT (UTC-5) in Lobby D.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Registration cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to registration@otcnet.org and must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. Central Time on 6 April 2027 to receive a refund, minus a USD 25 administrative processing fee. Cancellation requests received after 6 April 2027 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time are not eligible for a refund.
No refunds will be provided for no-shows. If you do not attend and fail to provide written notification in advance of the first day of the event, you will not be eligible for a refund. By registering for the event, you agree to comply with the terms outlined in this cancellation policy. Please note that refunds will not be granted if you receive a complimentary guest invitation. No exceptions.
Student registrations are subject to a USD 10 administrative processing fee for cancellations.
There are no refunds for OTC ancillary event tickets.
* Membership in any of the OTC sponsoring, endorsing, supporting, or invited organizations.
** Proceedings must be purchased separately. Proceedings are available digitally through OnePetro®. Access codes will be emailed to those who register prior to 29 April 2027. If you register after 29 April, your proceeding access code will be emailed to you after the event. The OTC 2027 Conference Proceedings will only be available for purchase through the registration link until Wednesday, 5 May 2027. After 5 May 2027, this year’s papers will be available to be purchased individually in OnePetro.
SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Substitution/replacement registrations are offered as a one-time courtesy as long as a badge has not been printed. Replacing a registered OTC attendee with a business colleague or co-worker will be accepted.
